About

Peatree Productions was started by Sharan Dhaliwal in 2015, who, after working on numerous video campaigns for large brands, noticed the gap in the social video market. Using her degree in animation, and experience in corporate video production, she creates content from Vine, Instagram, Snapchat and YouTube (to the ever-changing medium of mobile apps).

Clients include:  Comedy Central UK, Shelter and Dazed Digital.

Peatree Productions has also taken on a publishing role, by creating Burnt Roti - a magazine created by South Asians, concentrating on celebrating South Asian talent.

Testimonials

Testimonials

"Sharan is very professional and I was massively impressed with her creativity and imagination - and had no idea that something so clever could fit in to such a short animation. I am so pleased with the videos, and have had countless comments from friends and clients about how great they are. We'll be working together again for sure." - Emma Zentner, Boom Nails/Boom Things

"Sharan was a joy to work with from start to finish - creative, thorough and well organised" - Harry Harris, Into Film

BURNT ROTI

Is a magazine celebrating South Asian culture and talent. All writers, artists, designers, celebrities are all South Asian, as is the creator. This magazine is to be enjoyed by everyone around the world, giving South Asians a platform to celebrate themselves.

Issue 1 will have interviews with Heems (previously from Das Racist), Himesh Patel, Hatecopy, Aparna Nancherla and Horsepowar. There is a make up section by beautiful MUA Fashionicide. Our agony aunt is renowned writer Priya Alika, discussing issues with rejection and your body. We have a food section created by my own mother and a rant column by my father - injecting different generations into this magazine.

We also have beautiful opinion pieces written by some brilliant South Asian writers.

Issue 1 of the magazine will be launched in April 2016.
